By using mymarketdiary.com you agree to what follows. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the site.

1. What this site is

A set of questions and a page of numbers. It asks about trades you have already taken, and counts your own answers back to you against limits you typed in yourself.

2. This is not investment advice

  • Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security.
  • Nothing here is a tip, a call or a signal, and the site does not publish any.
  • No page names a share, index, strike, expiry or sector, and no page quotes a price.
  • No page says what any market will do.
  • No page tells you what your limit should be. Every number counted against is a number you typed in yourself.
  • Nothing here says, or implies, that using this site changes what you earn or lose.

3. Who runs it

One person, in a personal capacity, separate from any company I work for. I am not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or a research analyst, and I am not claiming to be one. If you want advice on your own position, that is a question for someone registered to answer it.

4. Your decisions are your own

Every order placed in your account is your decision, with your money and your risk. Reading a page here, answering a question here, or seeing a count here does not shift any part of that to me. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I accept no responsibility for any loss, cost or tax position that follows from your trading.

5. Figures, rules and dates

Any figure or rule here is taken from the original document, and that document is named on the same page, with a link to it wherever one is published. It is checked carefully. It is not warranted to be free of error, and rules change. Before you rely on a tax point or a rule for your own filing or your own position, read the source document or ask your own CA.

6. No warranty, and the site may change or go away

The site is provided as it is. There is no promise that it will be available, that it will work in your browser, or that any part of it will still exist next month. Pages may be rewritten, questions may change, and the whole site may be taken down at any time without notice. You pay nothing for it, and nothing is owed to you.

7. About the ads

Ads on this site are served by Google AdSense. They are not endorsements. I do not choose each one and I do not vouch for any of them. If an ad offers you tips, calls or guaranteed returns, that is the advertiser speaking, not this site. Whatever you do about an ad is between you and the advertiser.

8. Using the content

Link to any page here freely, and quote a line or two with a link back. Do not copy pages wholesale, do not present this work as your own, and do not scrape the site at a rate that costs it money to serve.

9. Law

These terms are governed by Indian law, and any dispute belongs to the courts in India.

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version is posted on this page with the date it changed. Using the site after that date means the new version applies to you.

What this does not say: Agreeing to these terms is not advice and gives you no claim on any trading outcome; and nothing here replaces reading the original SEBI or tax document for your own position.
